Razaphe Agar and Essential Oil Distillation Factory is a joint venture of L.A.I.D of the HSMM Group of Companies and a Nagaland based Business Group.
The HSMM Group has committed to provide technology and know-how to develop the agar wood business. Boilers have been put in place and the construction of the factory is complete. The Factory will start production of agarwood oil and related products in 2017.
The RazapheAgarwood factory will be a pioneer in the Agarwood product processing in India. The factory will use state of the art technologies and procedures in its operations.
Nagaland in North East India is the main habitat of the AquilariaMelaccensis species, which produces the best agarwood aroma among other aquilaria species. The factory will offer new employment opportunities for the locals and help in fostering the livelihood in the area.
